Unlocking Curiosity and Building Future Scholars
Success Koach's research mentorship program offers high school students the unique opportunity to dive into research under the guidance of mentors who have experience across multiple top research institutions.
Getting involved in research is a game-changer for students with lofty academic goals. It’s not just about learning facts, but about tackling real-world problems and digging deeper into subjects they’re passionate about. In pursuing early research opportunities, students can set themselves apart in college applications, gain important research fundamentals, and further explore the areas of academic endeavor that most excite them.
Bite-Sized Research Fundamentals
The SK Research Program is designed to help students develop critical research and analytical skills. The experience will provide a structured mentoring environment where students can explore interdisciplinary research projects tailored to their interests.
Students will work in small cohorts with mentors to define a research question, conduct analysis, and produce a short write-up or presentation. This is meant to be an introductory project, not an overly complex research endeavor. The fall program will run as a 3-month pilot from October to December.
The program critically hinges on a 55-minutes per week model:
-
15 minutes of asynchronous lecture
-
15 minutes on a relevant assignment
-
25-minute 1-on-1 mentorship meeting every week
